Request for Proposal
The District of Mission is inviting artists to participate in this public art competition. The selected artist will receive a commission to design, fabricate and install the original public art in downtown Mission. The intended outcome of this project is to enhance the public space and contribute to Mission’s unique cultural identity with original artwork.
This RFP is open to qualified professionals and artist teams, defined as having specialized training in the field or a history of having exhibitions as an artist, and who are recognized as artists by peers and art professionals.
